Introduction

In recent years, the digital economy has emerged as an opportunity for national social progress and economic transformation, while also posing significant challenges for businesses. Globally, with the development of trends such as the Internet of Everything (IoE), cloud computing (services), internet technology, mobile technology, and big data, industries face disruptive innovations in business models.

To address the needs of the digital economy and talent cultivation, the Doctoral Program at the College of Finance and Economics was established, with its first cohort admitted in August 2019. The program's curriculum is designed to align with these international trends, supporting the development of government industrial policies and the innovation of business models. The program aims to cultivate business professionals required for the digital economy, specifically nurturing corporate executives with e-governance skills in "corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance (RegTech)."
